Fixed Speed – Gear Driven Technology (15 kW – 160 kW)

Gear drive systems offer superior transmission accuracy between the compressor element and motor. Opting for a heavy-duty gearbox solution delivers numerous benefits, including: increased performance with reduced energy consumption; lower maintenance costs due to the elimination of belts and couplings; zero transmission losses; no belt tensioning requirements; and quieter operation, often enhanced by a standard radial cooling fan on select models.

Variable Speed – Gear and Direct Driven Technology (7.5 kW – 160 kW)

Direct driven compressors achieve high energy efficiency and operate at lower temperatures due to their motor’s direct connection to the compressor crankshaft. Conversely, frequency driven compressors optimize air delivery by precisely matching output to demand. This is accomplished through a frequency inverter, which maintains consistent pressure and eliminates energy losses associated with traditional load/unload cycles. The resulting smoother air profile and adaptive operation lead to significant energy and cost savings.
